Meghan Thurlow is a Senior Fellow supporting the methane removal team at Spark. She collaborates with methane removal program leads on strategic field-building initiatives. She is also a lecturer in business and public policy at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a member of San Francisco’s Public Utilities Commission. Previously, Meghan served as Chief Technology Officer, leading technical strategy and engineering and science teams for an air quality and climate monitoring company. Her technical work included developing partnerships with major utilities for natural gas leak detection and methane identification systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Harvard University, an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. from Carleton College. She lives in San Francisco with her family.
